Over the last two years, the generative artificial intelligence (GAI) tools available to lawyers and judges have made remarkable advances  more than a few lawyers have made well-publicized missteps when using this technology. In this CLE, two members of the Colorado Supreme Court Standing Committee on the Rules of Professional Conduct and its Supreme Court liaison will lead a discussion of the ways GAI is impacting the practice of law and the ethical rules, with a particular focus on the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct, which provide the standards of professional responsibility for attorneys practicing in the District of Colorado, see  D.C.Colo.LAttyR 2.
