Dedicated to improving the quality of legal practice in Colorado's federal courts.
EDWARD BUTLER, Esq. Legal Officer U.S. District Court, District of Colorado
12 noon - 1:15 p.m.
Since all the U.S. District Court's judicial officers require proficiency with courtroom technology equipment and protocol, here is your chance to get a hands-on familiarization with the equipment and procedure for courtroom presentation of evidence. This is also an opportunity to learn from a court staff member's perspective about courtroom etiquette, procedural practice tips, often misunderstood or ignored local rules, and the secret three-word mantra that all must know. Parking: There are several lots near the courthouse, including at 20th & Champa, and a parking structure at 19th & Curtis Street. Metered parking is available around the courthouse but most of it is for 1 hour only and is heavily patrolled.
Security: Program attendees will be required to present a valid ID and go through security; please plan accordingly. Materials are available HERE and HERE.
