Sara Scott of the Center for Legal Inclusiveness will lead a training on for registrants that will define and equip the them with tools to counteract inequities in the following categories: equity, diversity, inclusivity, systemic racism, microaggressions, unconscious bias, and antiracism. 

Objectives, after the training, the attendees will: 

  • Have a better understanding of EDI terminology and examples as to how these inequities come to fruition in everyday life; 
  • Gain a better understanding of racial inequities and how you, as an individual, and your organization, can address these inequities; 
  • Learn tools to engage in practicing the steps to identify conscious and unconscious biases and strategies to mitigate the impact of these biases; 
  • The attendees will leave the training with strategies to bring back to their workplaces to assist in creating EDI solutions.
